Subaru Outback vs. Honda Crosstour
Â- What's the point of having a crossover SUV if it doesn't handle like a one? The Outback comes standard with all-wheel drive and an 8.7 inch ground clearance, while the Crosstour has front-wheel drive and only 6.2 inches of ground clearance. For functionality, the choice is clear.
- If you think space is a crucial element to the practicality of an SUV, you're not alone. The Outback sports 73.3 cubic feet of cargo space, whereas the Honda only has 51.3.
- It also has a better combined mpg of 28 where the Crosstour only gets a combined 25 mpg.
Subaru Outback vs. Toyota Prius V
Â- Price is key here. The Outback costs significantly less than the Prius V does, starting at a base MSRP of $24,995 as compared to $26,675 for the Prius.
- As far as functionality is concerned, the Outback is inherently better suited with standard all-wheel drive, compared to the Prius with front-wheel drive.
- Again space is crucial, and the Prius can't compare to the Outback's 73 cubic feet, with only 67.3 cubic feet of space.
